6th,7th,and 8th Grade WingsEach grade level has its own wing, or place where most of your classes are.
Six out of seven classes you will have will be in a wing. One class, your co-curricular class will be in another part of the school. What to do in the gym
CafeteriaIn the cafeteria, there are two lunch lines. You will sit with your homeroom in the cafeteria.
You will have about 20 minutes to eat lunch. We normally have restroom breaks after lunch, but you can always ask Mr. Markwell for permission to go during lunch. |
Co-Curricular ClassesCo-Curricular classes are held in different parts of the building. Your Co-Curricular classes will be library, gym, health, or keyboarding. You will go to these classes with your homeroom, and each of these last for a 9 weeks.
LibraryMrs. Franklin, the librarian, allows students to come to the library at 7:30 in the morning if they need to check out a book. Otherwise, you go to the library 2 times a week. Sometimes, other teachers besides your reading teacher takes you to the library. You are allowed to check out one book at a time.

OfficeThe office is the place to go if you need a bus note, meaning you are going to a different place
in the evening than you normally do. If you need a bus note confirmed, you should be sure to have it in the office before noon. The office is also where you go if you were absent the day before so you can get your excuse to show your teachers. Be sure to remember your note from home! |
GymMrs. Hensley is our gym teacher. Some things you do in gym are run, play dodge ball, do archery or softball, or play ultimate frisbee. Gym is one of our favorite co-curricular classes.
Outdoor Courtyard and ClassroomBelow you will see a picture of our courtyard and our outdoor classroom. We use the courtyard sometimes on Fab Fridays. Both of them are great places to relax!
